Welcome, hello, and all that jazz...
*~* This is the designated box for "Site description," so I will begin describing now. My name is Katherine but I go by Kat, Kay, Kate, Katie, Kit-Kat, Kit, Kitsy (oooh, don't call me that, please!), KK, moon-man (that's a long story, ask Jeana.), whatever Rach feels like calling me (our nicknames for each other change daily...love ya Rach!), Lady Shadowsong, "my bitchy sister" (in case you can't tell, my brothers call me that), Semyra (when I'm gaming), Amaris Moonsong, and fifty gazillion and one more names that I SERIOUSLY do not feel like listing. I'm fifteen years old, and a Cancer, through and through (except for that whole homebody thing...I want to escape from home ASAP and move away with one of my friends to open a B&B). I love astrology, magick, fantasy, my relgion, magical creatures, and of course, lemons. I have had this site since August of 2001, and it really doesnt have a purpose...just a place I can tell people to go if they feel like knowing what's going on with me. This used to be named after some of my friends, basically the group I sit with at lunch (there were eight at one time, no one really remembers exactly when...by now there's probably like sixteen or something), and we're a buch of very insane teenage girls.
About those friends... Well, I'll list a bunch of them, in some semblance of the order I met them in.
*Katie W., who I met and became friends with in fourth grade...we hated each other at first, but now...well, we're pretty much inseperable. Always one of the first people I turn to when I have a problem. Sign: Aries
*Alex, whom I became aquanted with sometime during fourth or fifth grade, but never got to know until seventh. A true-blue psycho who's practically a genius and is super creative...no one ever knows what crazy idea she'll have next. Sign: Leo
~~In fifth grade I had a brief fling with the popular group...I'm not friends with any of those people anymore. Onwards...
*Sue, a very nice girl who tends to obsess over things and is always the brunt of the joke, but she doesn't mind...we all love you anyway, Sue-bear! I met her in sixth grade but again, never got to know her really until middle school. Sign: Virgo
*Rachel, who I met and became instantaneously close with in seventh grade, on the school bus. Rachel is my absolute BEST friend (though Katie and Corie rank high on the charts), I know I can tell her anything, and we're super comfortable with each other. I don't know how I would survive without my dear, morbid little Rachel. Sign: Saggitarius
Katie O., who was one of my very very close friends in seventh grade. She went to private school for eighth, but now she and I are friends again. Sign: Leo
~~At about that time I became friends with quite a few other people:
*Corie, who ranks high on the friend-o-meter...a great person who I can turn to with any and all of my problems. A true friend, and she always reviews my fanfiction! Sign: Virgo
*Linda, Corie's fraternal twin sister, who is incredibly odd and always worth a laugh or two...my partner in crime, beating up David...WAI! Sign: Virgo
*Lauren, with whom I have agreed to dissagree, so to speak. We made a pact never to be under the illusion that we're close friends. She's hella fun to hang out with though! Sign: Aries
*Schinthia, to be frank, I really can't remember how I met her...sometime during seventh grade I think, but anyways, she's a very good student, very soft-spoken, and incredibly friendly to everyone around her. Sign: Aries
*Elena, who I vaugely knew of during fourth grade, and got to know during eighth. (she's here on the list because we barely knew each other at all in fourth grade...in eighth grade I got her to remember me by telling her that I was the girl with a bandaged face and crutches, courtesy of a bike accident.) Elena is a very special person in my life, a person who understands things and is very even-tempered with me, so I know that she won't blow up in my face. Sign: Leo
*Annemarie, who's dating my ex-boyfriend, Bill, and so our friendship is a little rocky. I still like her though. Became friends with her sometime during eighth grade. Sign: Gemini
*Jeana, I actually don't see her very much, as she has another group of friends that she spends more time with, but when I see her, I love being around her...though she does tend to be a bit stubborn sometimes. Became friends during eighth grade Algebra 1-2. Sign: Capricorn
*David, Corie's boyfriend, who's a really fun person...just as insane as the rest of us. Other than that, he's fun to beat up...but it gets boring sometimes because he never fights back. We met freshman year. Sign: Cancer.
*Mallory, a totally cool person and one of my best friends, she confided in me that before she knew me she thought I was a stuck-up know-it-all...and she found it hilarious when I told her I project that image on purpose. She was in my Geometry class and I got to know her because she was friends with Corie and Elena. She towers over me, and I'm 5'7"!!! Sign: Gemini
*Amanda: Annemarie's best friend, whom I really grew close with in stitchery class. She's an awesome person...a little quiet, though. Sign: Scorpio.
*Ben: He's the kind of guy who helps out his friends without being asked...claims it's his duty. He's a sweetie and a half and has helped me in more ways than he'll ever know.Sign: Virgo.
*Nate: What can I say, the guy is cool. He listens to me, even though most of the time I'm either a whining little brat or a total bitch...so being listened to is nice, and I appreciate him for putting up with me. Sign: Pisces
*Mike (a.k.a. Molestor): David's poor, abused best friend. We call him Molestor because Katie W. seemed to think that he looked like one. It stuck. I think we scared him off, we hardly ever see him anymore...lol. Sign: ???
~~Also, at lunch a bunch of guys who none of us know (except maybe David) sit by us...they're really rude and annoying, so I won't mention them.
Of my friends, those of us who are practicing psi's are me, Rach, Elena, Mallory, Corie, Katie W., and Ben. I tend to be precognitive and empathic, but it's all very nebulous in my mind.Oh well, the terminology doesn't matter.
Okay, back to describing my site. I have a journal, some pictures, cool things about me, and random essays and things.
I'm also Wiccan, in case you can't tell by my pretty pentacle in the corner. Please excuse any rants on my site, I DO NOT HATE CHRISTIANS!!! Really, I don't. I love a lot of Christians, and one of my close friends is Muslim, and I have one Atheist, too! I'm very open when it comes to religion, really...I just don't like it that Christians tend to cram the Bible down everyone's throat. I don't believe that Wicca is the ONLY right way. It's the right way for me, but it might not be the right way for you or the right way for Mary Bobby Sue or the right way for my across-the-street neighbor's little sister! I'm just saying that I've never had any Buddist or Hindu or Jew try to cram their religion down my throat. If you are Christian, I DONT HATE YOU! In fact, I've read a lot of the Bible. A lot of it is pretty damn cool stuff. I was raised strictly a Catholic...I don't hate my parents for that! They were doing what they thought was right for me...but I know in my heart that Wicca is what's right for me, personally. If you're Christian and it works for you, fine. I really could care less what religion you are, just as long as you're a good person. :)
Yep, I'm an insane Wiccan, and as my friend Stacy says "those are the best kind."
